Agreement
These terms govern your use of the LiveLocks iOS app and this website (together, the "Service"), operated by LiveLocks. By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use LiveLocks. If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission.
What LiveLocks does
LiveLocks renders hairstyle previews on your live camera feed using AI. It's a preview tool to help you explore how a cut might look — it is not a guarantee of what a stylist will produce, and results can vary from the final haircut.
Accounts
You can use LiveLocks anonymously with a limited free trial, or sign in with Apple to sync your credits and saved looks across devices. You're responsible for keeping your device and Apple ID secure.
Credits and purchases
- LiveLocks is credit-based. You get a limited number of free live seconds, and can buy additional seconds in one-time packs through the App Store.
- Credit packs are consumable in-app purchases, not subscriptions. There's no recurring charge.
- Purchases are billed and processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled under Apple's App Store refund policy, not by us directly.
- Live seconds have no cash value, are non-transferable, and can't be exchanged for money.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Point the camera at someone else without their consent to generate a try-on of their likeness.
- Use the Service to create misleading, deceptive, or harmful content.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or abuse the Service or its underlying AI models.
- Use the Service in a way that violates any law or third party's rights.
Third-party services
LiveLocks relies on third-party providers — including fal.ai/Decart for live rendering, Convex for backend infrastructure, and Apple and RevenueCat for purchases — to operate. Your use of the Service is also subject to Apple's Media Services Terms and, where applicable, those providers' own terms.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is." Live previews are AI-generated approximations and may not precisely match how a style will look on you in person. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, LiveLocks is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including decisions you make about a haircut based on a preview.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for violations of these terms. You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by contacting us.
Changes
We may update these terms as the Service changes. If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
